Six celebrated and creative iconoclasts, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, CINDY SHERMAN, FRANK GEHRY, KARL LAGERFELD, MARC NEWSON and REI KAWAKUBO, were each given carte blanche to create a personally inspired bag and/or piece of luggage using the iconic MONOGRAM. These projects celebrate the legendary pattern, while keeping with the brand鈥檚 spirit of innovation, collaboration and daring. For KARL LAGERFELD, Boxing was the main source of inspiration this time. He has started with a Punching Trunk, and then he has made a Punching bag, a Punching suitcase, an exercise matt and finally boxing gloves that were all inspired by this Boxing idea.
